"I don't eat healthy, so doesn't that mean my milk won't be nutritious enough for my baby?
Eating healthy during breastfeeding is the same as during your pregnancy. Your own health may suffer from eating poorly but your breastmilk will still be the most nutritious food for your baby. Think of mothers in developing countries who do not have access to enough food. Their milk is still the best nourishment their babies can receive. To reassure yourself you can take a prenatal multivitamin-mineral pill once a day. It won't take the place of a healthy diet, but it may help if you are not eating well.
